What Is the UAE Golden Visa?

The Golden Visa is a long-term UAE residence programme for qualifying investors, entrepreneurs, exceptional talents, specialised professionals, outstanding students and certain other eligible categories.

Depending on the category, Golden Residence may be valid for five or ten years and renewable while the applicable conditions continue to be met. It allows the holder to live, work, study and invest in the UAE without a traditional sponsor.
